👉As a Senior Guidewire Developer, your main responsibilities will include:

Being part of a dynamic project team spread across multiple locations, developing and subsequently maintaining new global business-driven products on a Guidewire platform, specifically utilizing PolicyCentre 10.1, with the objective of simplifying current underwriting processes and the commercial insurance system landscape.

Working within a fast-paced agile framework, participating in the development of new products based on business requirements.

Working on integrated development tasks, including creating reusable GW-based frameworks.

Within the project development team, suggesting and sharing ideas, aligning with other developers, documenting coding methods for specific topics to ensure transparency.

Configuring, upgrading, and resolving issues on the lower environment servers.

Configuring and resolving issues in the CI/CD pipeline based on Bamboo.

Identifying/correcting database issues (possibly due to illegal product model changes).

Participating in ongoing unit testing and subsequent UAT.


  • 5+ Years of GW PolicyCenter Configuration experience with good exposure to SDLC and Java EE.

  • Experience with full SDLC and iterative (Agile) development lifecycle as used in GW implementations.

  • Hands on GW Implementation Proficiency and Experience in GW Configuration Development.

  • Experience with XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools.

  • Leadership – Assertive, Sharp with ability to inspire, bring out the best in individuals and develop a strong configuration team to deliver quality configurations

  • Excellent communication skills, Onsite – Offshore co-ordination

  • Large Scale System Delivery Experience preferably for Policy Administration Systems

  • High level of English, both written and oral.
